A founding member of Without Sun squadron.

In the depths of space, one will find many sorts of commanders. Unique among these is Cal Else Grail, but not in the usual sense of uncommonality. There’s some element or other-worldly power at play that guides Grail’s journey. A mission that is both unknown to him and familiar to every moment of his life; standing just out of reach of what is tangible.

That, or he’s just a learning pilot that is still figuring out this dangerous galaxy. Destiny? Perhaps. Rogue? Sometimes. Cheerleader? No, but he’s very supportive of other commanders. Gallant? Yup. He even knows how to scribe in calligraphy and other ancient modes of communication. He’s not xenophobic, but the Thargoids unsettle his soul at the deepest level, as though there is some hidden string being pulled from the darkest realm of memory. Grail dislikes black holes, not so much for what they do, but what they stand for; the total annihilation of information.

Currently, Without Sun and the carrier of Susitna stand as Grail’s growing family and home in this great and vast galaxy.
